If you are unable to find out the K-value from internet forums or manufacturer information ,
the instructions below will help you to calculate the K value.

Determine the K value of your vehicle:

- Determine wheel circumference with a tape measure
- Determine the revolutions of the speedometer shaft (square) at 10 revolutions of the wheel
(As an optical aid, clamp a paper clip to the square of the speedometer cable).
- Formula for the K value: K = 10 x number of revolutions of the square divided by the wheel circumference in cm.
- Round the result to one decimal place (the most common K values are 1.0 and 1.4).
