We have just added this new high-quality Lithium-ion battery modules. Not only are these modules extremely light, powerful and small but also very robust and can handle a lot!

The “Black Power start battery’s” modules series are here for all sorts of motorcycles and are available in multiple sizes and CCA’s.

Now you might be asking, what does CCA stands for?

Well this is what we call the Cold Cranking Amps of the battery, this is especially very relevant information with Lithium-ion battery’s since they are made to deliver a lot of power in a very short time, whereas old lead-acid and gel batteries were made to deliver a decent amount of power over a longer period with a higher ah (ampere per hour).

Storage

Besides the fact that these batteries are very powerful there are also very neat casings available which you can use to hide away the battery and attach it in a convenient way to your motorcycle! You can order the correct case with every module on the web shop. The boxes are 3d printed especially for one type of battery! So the fitment is just perfect! The boxes are also water and impact resistant, which make it the perfect place to sit for your Lithium module

How to take best care of your Lithium Battery:

To make sure your new Lithium module will last as long as it should you need to prepare your bike and your garage equipment!

Lithium batteries in general are a bit more sensitive batteries then the older big and bulky batteries. This is why you need to make sure you charge the battery correctly and in time to make sure it lasts.

The correct charger:

First of all, we Highly recommend getting the correct charger for your Lithium battery.

For the Solise battery’s we have a special charger that plugs right in.

But we also have a couple of other Lithium battery chargers with the right programs on it to make sure your battery lasts long! A charger such as the NOCO Genius 1 is a very reliable charger that has all sorts of programs and can be used for multiple types of batteries. (it also has a function to charge completely drained batteries!)

Lithium compatible Rectifier

Besides charging your battery in time we also recommend getting the right regulator when needed! When your current regulator doesn’t give the right charge to your new Lithium battery it can be a smart move to get the correct Lithium-ion compatible regulator/rectifier from Ricks motorsport electrics.
