If you want to mount an open air filter to your Yamaha XV/TR1, you need this conversion kit! It allows you to change your air filter without having to adjust the carburetor settings. You can use this improvement for instance when mounting a MAD-Exhaust.

You can use the original rubber flange and you can connect the kit with the original studs/mounts. Easy does it!

This kit includes a new K&N airfilter. 

please note that this is an aesthetic improvement. To increase your performance to an ultimate level you widen the airflow hole and adjust the carburetors.
