This post will teach you a bit more about the powder coating process as well as how to powder coat your own Cafe Racer parts.
A powder coat is similar to a free-flowing dry powder. Unlike classic liquid paint, it does not require a solver, which binds the components together in a liquid form. Usually, the coating is applied using electrostatics and is either a thermoset polymer or a thermoplastic. This technique is mainly used to coat metals. It does not seem too complicated, right?
