Suns out, buns out and your motorcycle! The sunny weather is about to come, altough you can't really tell yet here back in Holland ;).

The COVID-19 measures are a little bit looser here and there so we have some more things to look out to! But the best thing about the beautiful wather that is about to come are the awesome rides on our awesome motorcycles, yeah!

But you probably put your baby somewhere in stock and she can use some preperations. Because you defenitly don't want to get any surprises while your back on the road again.
But what to do?! That's what this blog is all about, Motorcycles United will help you out!

Oil level!

You want that your motorcycle runs smoothly right?
A low oil level ensures little lubrication which leads to faster wear and tear which ends in a big fat bill from the garage. And you defenitly don't want that. Get your oil here.

Tyres!

Do we need to explain? Check the profile and the tire pressure! Check out our collection ties here!

Coolant!

Well, your motorcycle is ofcourse smoking hot ;). If you have coolant in your motorcycle, check the level and the color. If it's brown or looks dirty than you should look up the cause of it and fill it with fresh coolant. (get rid of the old coolant first than) Get your coolant here.

Steering head!

If there is clearance in your steering head, you get a bad handling on the road. You can easily check if there is any clearance in your steering head. Put your front tire against a wall, apply the front brake and push! If you hear any 'taps' or if your front fork moves than that's bad news.. :(

Chain!

Check if your chain has the right tension. If you see hooks on your chain you need to replace it. Check our chains here.

Brakes!

Braking is for wimps! But for the wimps: a low oil level can indicate leaks. Check your breaksystem on leaks and check if your brake pads are still thick enough. And at last you check the pressure build-up of the brake lever and the brake pedal. If either feels spongy, you'll have to dig a little deeper. Check out our break parts here.

Lubrication! Yummieee

Let's get dirtyyyyyy. Think of the handles, the frame and all hinged parts. Remove the dirt and then apply new lubricant. Check our lubrication here.

Shine baby, shine!

Now that your motorcycle is ready to get back on the road again don't forget to soap her in so everyone will stop and stare at you and your badass shiny motor! Get your soap here.
