Yamaha XV750 cafe racer

Yamaha XV750 frame and engine thats where the standard bike stops.
This bike has been modified with GSX-r 750 forks, Honda NTV 650 single swing arm. The bike has always drawn a lot of attention and nick named the Armadillo bike due to the handmade custom fenders. The bike was purchased from Custom Cafe motorcycle builder in europe, imported into the UK where it has been registered and further modifications continued.

The engine was stripped down, and rebuilt with new piston rings, re ground camshafts by newman cams, new small and big end bearings, oil pump, alternator and replacement crankshaft.
Once the engine was re assembled the whole unit was prepared and blasted to offer a unique aluminium finish.

Carburettors were stripped, vapour blasted with new rebuild kits and re chroming to the brackets. Fully rewrite with the use of motogadget m-unit, miniature m button controls along with reverse levers make the handle bars feel completely original. A fully restored mechanical German war time clock is centrally mounted to add to the retro look.

An extensive amount of fabrication from the custom lights to re use of a vintage motorcycle headlight which was restored and modified to suit the look of this one off motorcycle.

No keys needed to start this bike, a discreetly positioned RFID ignition lock brings this bike to like!

Powered by a Shorai Lithium ion battery and ultizing aircraft resettable fuses enables for a minimalist look.
The tank was custom painted by Scott of Custom Exotics. No expense has been spared in manufacturing this bike.

This has been a road bike however more recently it has been on display in a private dwelling as their centre piece. The was prepared for sale with an MOT carrie out in November, however was decommissioned to remain on display for a further 6 months.

This is honestly a wonderful bike just to admire, the hours involved in each bespoke component is nothing short off extraordinary.
