Stock plastic intake manifolds on Gen1 M8 engines are prone to warping and air leaks caused by engine heat. This Daytona intake manifold is a cast aluminum replacement built for the Gen1 M8 round intake port design, intended as a direct upgrade for the original 55mm plastic manifold / intake boot. The aluminum construction resists the heat deformation that leads to leakage in the stock part, and flow bench testing shows an improvement in airflow compared to the original unit.
